The Reinvent Michigan Team is looking for committed citizens to step up to the plate and “Run with Rick” to help Reinvent Michigan and usher in the Era of Innovation.

Rick for Michigan is recruiting candidates across the state for Precinct Delegate, State Representative, and State Senate. We need to change the culture in Michigan and in order to do that we need to dramatically change the leadership. We need to elect additional Precinct Delegates to grow and strengthen the party. We need new State Representatives and State Senators who will help Rick usher in the Era of Innovation.

Therefore, Rick is encouraging his fellow Michiganders to run for the following positions:

1. Precinct Delegate
A Precinct Delegate is the Republican leader for a given voter precinct. There are approximately 5,000 Precincts statewide. The role of the Precinct Delegate is to be the point person for the party in that given precinct. By agreeing to “Run with Rick” as a Precinct Delegate, your name will appear on the August 3, 2010 Primary Election ballot. If you win that election, you will be the elected leader for your precinct and help the Reinvent Michigan Team win your precinct in the Fall. You may check what precinct you live in by clicking here. Then you can file for Precinct Delegate by turning in this form to your County Clerk.

2. State Representative
A State Representative is a full-time position in Lansing. You would represent your constituents and this is a considerable commitment for you and your family. Some districts are difficult to win for a Republican, but it is important to Rick that we compete in every area of the state. Therefore, Rick is asking committed citizens to consider running for State Representative.

3. State Senate
A State Senator is also a full-time position in Lansing. It is very similar to State Representative except you have a larger voice in Lansing and represent more constituents. Similarly, Rick is recruiting Michiganders to run for State Senate in every district in the state.

2. Committed to working with Rick to Reinvent Michigan and usher in the Era of Innovation.
3. Committed to the Rick for Michigan 10 Guiding Principles
4. Committed to the Rick For Michigan Team Culture.
5. Committed to the principle that Reinventing Michigan is a cause greater than self interest.
